Tobago Waterfalls

Tobago Waterfalls

Visit the waterfalls on a hot summers day in Tobago for a refreshing break from the heat and sun. Cool off in natural pools, before climbing the waterfalls and taking a plunge from the top.

Whilst there are many little waterfalls to be found the major ones are as follows:-

  • Argyle Waterfall – Argyle near Roxborough
  • Castara Waterfall – Castara
  • Parlatuvier Waterfall – Parlatuvier
  • Rainbow Waterfall – Goodwood
  • Craig Hall Waterfall – Moriah
  • Highland Waterfalls Moriah
  • Kings Bay Waterfall – opposite Kings Bay
  • Tobago Main Ridge Forest Reserve

Stand under the waterfall and let the cold water clear your head, it’s a perfect way to escape the heat of the midday sun. Listen to the sounds of the forest and feel yourself rejuvenated.

Enjoy the cool shade of the bamboo and take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Tobago’s landscape and nature. The sound of the water flowing over the rocks is a great way to unwind and relax.

Meditation can help to reduce stress levels and improve your overall health. Its a great place to practice and see if it works for you! I think we all need a little meditation in 2021! There is nothing quite like the view and the sound of a waterfall to clear your mind.

In our opinion the best time to visit the waterfalls are when it’s quieter and you’ll be able to enjoy the peace of this magical place without interruption or distraction so time it well!

The rocks can be slippery so wear appropriate footwear for the occasion and keep an eye on everyone to make sure they don’t slip. A little bug spray can help to keep the mosquitos at bay which unfortunately come with the beauty of the tropics!

Make sure to take a good supply of water with you to keep hydrated and replenish your energy levels. Don’t forget the camera, because this is one photo opportunity not worth missing! Sandwiches or fruits are a great way to refuel yourself on your waterfall trail.

Wear sunscreen and protect your skin from harmful rays as you’re enjoying your time outdoors and surrounded by nature. The bottom line is that Tobago’s waterfalls are simply stunning and worth a visit.

It’s a top place to go for a family outing or even as a couple looking for some alone time amidst nature’s beauty. It’s also great if you have any active kids who want to burn off some of that excess energy and just generally enjoy the outdoors.

Enjoy a cooling waterfall shower in Tobago and recharge your batteries! Let us know what you think of the waterfalls if you’ve visited them yourself, we’d love to hear your story.

There are so many great places for hiking and exploring in Tobago which is why it’s one of our favourite destinations on earth! This post just scratches at the surface but hopefully paints a picture that will have you eager to visit this amazing place.
